    Thinking Forward

    I took my new JB Rack on an 800 mile trip two days after I got it. I was a bit nervous because the rack seemed to shake quite a bit. 50 miles into my trip, one of the straps broke and my bike bounced out of the wheel basket, but fortunately got hung up on the tire tab. The strap wasn't put on overly tight. It matched the other two bikes on the rack. When I got home, I did some work to prevent the rack from shaking as much. Lastly, the wheel baskets seem overly large. I don't know what that's about. I'm getting ready to take a major mtb trip, so I thinking forward and trusting that the rack does its job.

    Updated video instructions via YouTube much more helpful than PDF. Overall the rack is great. Little bit of sideways movement but unsure what to compare it to. Rack won’t fall off but may just ‘wobble’ slightly. Will put in additional bolts to strengthen. Service and PR team amazingly helpful when contacting.

    Good rack but a few improvements needed

    I like the rack but a few improvements would make it great.

    The tabs that serve as stops for the rear tires are of thin metal that tend to bend. The straps used at the bottom are a bit jenky. A redesign to include straps as used in the upper tire hoops would be better I think.

    My unit was delivered with the packaging completely destroyed and held together by packaging tape. I’m convinced that it was a used unit. There were parts missing as well.

    Customer service is fantastic with my emails being answered promptly.

    Don’t get me wrong the carrier is very good and we used it to carry 3 MTB’s from SSN Diego to Oregon and back with no issues. It’s a great rack for the price and I highly recommend.

    Feedback on rack

    Gods communication with updates and a reasonable delivery time. After the rack was delivered, I noticed the tow hitch did not fit my vehicle (needed a rounded hitch, not square). I sent the query via email which was rectified in a reasonabletime frame & I received a rounded hitch as a replacement.

    Downside: replacement hitch was not painted black to match the rest of the rack. No paper manual to follow as instructions on website require a little back & forth to complete build.

    Maybe consider adding an option to order rounded or squared hitches prior to completing order?

    surprisingly good build quality for the price. took it on 1 trip so far, 2nd one tomorrow.

    does wobble left to right a little more than i would of thought, but ive never had a bike rack before, so could be normal. got to remember to slow down on speed bumps .

    overall, very happy with it.
