Shed Stand

Hi Jameson, so far the bike rack has preformed outstanding. I am very happy with it. I did have to tweak it for my bike. I have a high end downhill mtb, with a Fox 40 fork. The fork has a fender and it was rubbing on the wheel loop. Where the fender connects to the fork is very thin plastic. I've already cracked one side where it bolts to the fork, and I do not want to crack it any more. That happened on the trail, not on the rack BTW. I have written a review explaining what I had to do to fix this. I also included photos. JB's response to me was, I should take the fender off to transport the bike. This would be very impractical and time consuming. My solution solved the problem completely. I understand warranty issue, however, keeping mtb intact without having to remove the fender is more important to me. The last review I written I included photos of what I did. I will be happy to resend them. I realize my issue may be the exception, and the vast majority of bike do not have this problem. But other mtb owners with a front fender might. Just a suggestion, maybe a kit that solved the fender rubbing might be an easy fix for rider who have a front fender. I would buy it. Thank you for asking for my feedback, I hope it helps.

I'm a bit disappointed i haven't had a chance to use the rack or stand for my mountain bike. The kids immediately took control building it and putting their BMX race bikes on it. Good for storage around a cluttered shed, make it easy to move the rack and bikes out of the way to get access to other areas of the garage. When towing, the toe bar locking plates takes all the movement out rack and i barely notice the rack on the back. I have made a minor adaption to the wheel supports by adding pool noodles for when i carry the BMX bikes and I'm considering changing the rollers on the stand to a large version to help movement around the rougher parts of my driveway.

We already had Thule Revert so this is just for the stand itself. Super well built, easy to attach and makes any vertical bike hitch rack useful when not on a vehicle. To be honest we didn't think out how/where to store the rack when it wasn't on a vehicle and it take a lot of floor space if you lay it down. This solved all that and got our bikes organized in the garage too.

Unit works excellent as intended. Bikes with rack mounted to the stand and can roll to wherever in garage. Nice construction and durable metal tubes with a nice guage steel. Feels like a good quality product.

My unit had a few dings and flaking paint...im sure from being banged around in shipping. Not a big deal... I was fustrated with the lack of any printed instructions however. I didn't see any assembly instructions on the product page either which was wierd (or im blind) but found an assembly video on a different page on the footer of the website. Felt like a real cheap cop-out to not include some printed instructions and only have an online video. The wheels have a hex bolt that the wheels are too big and require an odd angle to tighten. No idea why they didnt design casters so you had more room but was able to get only with a ball-head hex tool. Including the required 6mm hex key would have been a nice touch and I was surprised wasn't included like anything you get that requires assembly today. Couple of screws were longer than they should have been as well and could be a bit of a tripping problem.

Unit goes together nice and easy. At $200 (looks like cost recently went up) and free shipping it felt like a good price for what the unit is. Happy with the stand and my purchase.

The Shed Stand is a great addition to my bike storage setup. I used it to hold my Thule Revert6, and it works flawlessly. The stand is very stable, making it easy to store bikes securely. Side note: The box came absolutely crushed and destroyed. Some of the parts were scratched but everything was there and I didn’t care much about the scratches.

The garage stand works great! It is very sturdy and well balanced. Well worth the extra money. I can still park my car in the garage and pull right up to the bikes on the bike rack. And when we need to load the rack onto the car, we just pop it off the stand on move it to the car. Very convenient.
